
Protests of the Muslim Board began today against the Waqf law.
There is a debate across the country over the Waqf law. Opposition leaders and several Muslim boards are questioning the bill and are protesting from place to place. In this sequence, today the All India Muslim Personal Law Board will run Waqf Save Campaign which will run from 10 April to 7 July today. Many programs will be organized under this. There will be a sit -in at every district headquarters, a memorandum will be sent to the President through DM and a press conference will be held in the big 50 cities of the country.
Along with this, there will be a demonstration by Jamiat-Ulema-e-Hind in Kolkata, then BJP is also coming down in support of the bill. From today onwards, the BJP is starting a dialogue journey in Mumbai, Muslim areas under which the Waqf law will be explained to Muslims and thanks to a form of Modi will be filled. Preparation of AIMPLB against Waqf Act-
- First round of protest from 10 April to 7 May.
- From today, the All India Muslim Personal Law Board will intensify the protest against the Waqf Bill.
- The first round of “Waqf Bachao Campaign” will start from today to 7 July.
- There will be a sit -in and arrest program in the capitals of all states.
- After the prayers of Jumme, people will protest by making a human chain.
- It has been said on behalf of the board that this campaign will be run from the city to the village like the Shah Bano case.
- On 22 April, there will be a program in the name of protecting Waqf at Talkatora Stadium in Delhi.
- Black out at home, factory, office at 9 pm on 30 April.
- A press conference will be held in the big 50 cities of the country, as well as a meeting with intellectual society in all major cities.
- The women’s wing of the board will program at different places.
- A big program will be held on 7 May at Ramlila Maidan in Delhi.
Muscalim Board appealed to people
How the All India Muslim Personal Law Board is going to oppose it can guess that they are not afraid of arrest as the board itself will conduct a sit -in and arrest program in the capitals of the states. After the prayers of Jumme, people will make their protests by making human peace or in another way. Not only this, the board has appealed to the people that at 9 pm on April 30, people should close their home factory, office lights and register their protest for half an hour. A memorandum should be sent to the President through DM by staging a sit -in at every district headquarters.
Press conference in 50 big cities
A press conference will be held in 50 big cities like Delhi Mumbai Hyderabad, Ranchi, Lucknow, Ahmedabad. The women wing of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board will also work to make women aware. At the same time, from today at Ram Leela Maidan in Kolkata, there will be a protest against Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Hind Waqf law. This Protest will be under the leadership of Mamta Sarkar Minister Siddikullah Chaudhary.
No need to be afraid of Waqf Act- Mamta Banerjee
Actually, CM Mamta Banerjee is also continuously opposing the Waqf Bill. He said that the Muslims of Bengal do not need to be afraid of the Waqf Act because they will not allow this law to be applicable in Bengal. Mamta Banerjee is advising Muslims not to fear, while Rahul Gandhi is scaring Minorities about the Waqf Act. At the Congress session in Ahmedabad, Rahul Gandhi said that the Waqf Act has just been brought but after this the BJP and RSS are eyeing the property of church and gurdwaras. However, BJP says that the opposition is only misleading Muslims.
Angered by the larger section than the bill- Omar Abdullah
In Jammu and Kashmir, there is a ruckus about the Waqf Act. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah says that the people here are angry about the Waqf Bill, due to which the proceedings of the House are also being affected, in such a situation, the party will go to the Supreme Court against the bill.
BJP will fill the form of ‘Thank you Modi’
The opposition has put a lot of emphasis in opposing the Waqf Act, but the BJP is also not behind. From today onwards, the BJP is starting a dialogue journey in Muslim areas regarding Waqf law in Mumbai, in which the Waqf law will be explained properly to Muslims, every question will be answered and thanks to the solution, a form of Modi will be filled.
On one hand, the opposition and all the Maulanas say that the Muslims of the country will not accept this bill, they will fight against it on every front. Whether you have to shoot or go to jail. On the other hand, BJP leaders including PM Modi are engaged in counting the benefits of the bill. In such a situation, it has to be seen who wins the battle to convince Muslims.
Waqf bill gets approval
Explain that the Waqf Amendment Bill has passed the Parliament amid opposition and uproar by the opposition. Also, the President has approved it. In Rajya Sabha, it cast 128 votes in favor and 95 votes in opposition. In the Lok Sabha, 288 votes were cast in its favor and 232 votes in the opposition. President Draupadi Murmu approved the Waqf (Amendment) Bill, 2025 on 5 April. After this, the Muslim Law Board is now opposing it.
