India’s big action against Pakistan after Pahalgam terror attack
India’s counter action has started after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan’s top diplomat Saad Ahmed Varaich has been summoned in Delhi late on Wednesday night. Also, Persona Non Grata Note was sent to Pakistan’s military diplomats. Explain that Persona Non Grata means to refuse a diplomat or foreign person to enter or live in a particular country. India has given this note to the military diplomats of Pakistan, after which they will have to leave India within a week.
Meanwhile, the body of those killed in the attack has started reaching their homes. There is a warm atmosphere in every family and there is anger in the country.
Pakistan’s hookah-water closed!
Earlier, five major decisions were taken in an important meeting of Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi late on Wednesday evening. The beginning begins with diplomatic action. The biggest decision has been suspended with immediate effect the Indus River Water Agreement. Pakistanis will not get visas. Also, unwanted military officers will now have to leave India at the Pakistani High Commission in India.
Due to these decisions of India, Pakistan will not only crack down drops, but Pakistanis will no longer get entry in India. These decisions of the Modi government will cause economic and political injuries on Pakistan as well as diplomatic injuries. In a way, India has stopped its hookah-water.
These big decisions were taken in the CCS meeting-
- The 1960 Indus Water Treaty is suspended. India has said that until Pakistan does not stop its support to terrorism across the border, it will not be given the water of the Indus river. Meaning that there can now be a huge water shortage in a large area of Pakistan.
- Attari’s check post has been closed with immediate effect i.e. now the entry of Pakistanis in India will be closed by road. Those who have valid documents can go back to Pakistan before 1 May.
- Under the SAARC Visa Rebate Scheme i.e. SVES Visa, Pakistani citizens have been discontinued to travel to India. All visas issued to Pakistani citizens have been canceled and have been asked to leave India within 48 hours.
- Military advisors have been asked to leave India in a week at the Pakistani High Commission in New Delhi. Also, the number of staff in the High Commission has also been reduced from 55 to 30.
- Apart from these, India will also call the military officers back from its High Commission in Islamabad i.e. now there will be a mere diplomatic relationship with Pakistan.
Pakistani PM scared after India’s action
After the Pahalgam attack, India has taken drastic steps against Pakistan, after which the Government of Pakistan is nervous. After India’s action, Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has called a meeting of the National Security Committee today. In this meeting, a strategy will be made on the impact and retaliation of India’s decisions on Pakistan. The meeting will include the chief and major cabinet ministers of the three army organs.

Pakistan fear of surgical strike
Pakistan fears that India may once again perform a surgical strike on it. This is the reason why Pakistan started saying that it had nothing to do with it, while there was strong evidence that the terrorists who were attacked were following the order being received from Pakistan.
