Hundreds of boxes with plastic bottles were distributed on Autobahn 7 after a truck accident. Due to the clean -up work, traffic on the highway was affected for around nine hours. According to the police, all closures were only lifted again after 4 p.m. The 36 -year -old driver of the truck had therefore changed track near Fichtenau (Schwäbisch Hall district) without flashing and overlooked a car driving next to him.
The car was caught between the truck and the guardrail. While the 53 -year -old driver of the car, according to the information, braked in good time, the truck broke the guardrail, fell on the oncoming lane and overturned there. The cargo of the truck was distributed on the street. According to the police, the truck driver suffered minor injuries and was freed from his vehicle. The damage was estimated at around 200,000 euros.
