Mumbai: The person who threatened to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UP CM Yogi Adityanath has been sentenced to two years by the Mumbai court. The complainant policeman of the case was working in the main control room of the Mumbai Police Commissionerate, where he was on duty of the call Taker. Around 7:14 pm on 20 December 2023, he received a call from a mobile number. He began talks with the person making the call. The person who called the call said that the lives of PM Modi and Yogi Adityanath are in danger. Dawood Ibrahim’s man is giving five crores to Modi. If JJ people do not take the complaint, I will explode in JJ, threatened.
The policeman tried to talk to him, but he threatened that he would be responsible if anything happened. During the conversation, he called his name Ibrahim Kalyani. When the policeman asked to give the phone to senior officials, he disconnected the phone. Subsequently, the policeman informed his senior officials about this. After some time, he reached the ground police station to lodge a complaint, where the caller was traced and caught. His name was Kamran Amir Khan.
Two allegations of threatening proved
Later, when the complainant identified his voice, it was revealed that he was lying to the caller. Earlier, a case was registered for threatening to kill Yogi Adityanath. Allegations of threatening PM Modi and Yogi Adityanath against the accused, allegations of threatening to bomb him for not having medical in JJ Hospital, both proved allegations. In front of the court, the police was told that the person also claimed that the people of Dawood Ibrahim declared international terrorist were offering Rs 1 crore to him to bomb Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Adityanath.
Concession is not right-Adalat
Seeing the antics of the accused, the court just said that it is not right to make a concession with him. On behalf of the accused, the defense counsel said that the accused is not mentally stable but the magistrate court also dismissed the petition and said that in any way the accused had not been able to prove this. On behalf of the police, it was said in the court that he threatened the main control room and threatened that he would bomb the Government J Hospital. The policeman in the case told the court that the accused then said, “Modi’s life is in danger, Dawood Ibrahim is giving five crore rupees, he has asked Modi to end Modi.” Police said in the court that the accused made a claim of one crore to attack Yogi Adityanath as well.
Sentenced to two years imprisonment
Both the allegations against the accused were proved in the court. Accused Kamran Khan was sentenced to 2 years of ordinary imprisonment and a fine of Rs 500/- under Section 248 (2) of the Criminal Procedure for punishable offenses under Section 505 (2) of the Indian Penal Code. Sentenced to 15 days of simple imprisonment for not paying the fine. At the same time, under Section 506 (2) of the Indian Penal Code, for offensed offenses, the Criminal Procedure is convicted under Section 248 (2) and sentenced to 2 years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 500/-. A 15 -day simple imprisonment was sentenced for not paying the fine.
