Aamir Khan, son of Tahir Hussain, known as Bollywood’s talented and super cool superstar ‘Mr. Perfectionist’, is celebrating his 60th birthday on 14 March. He is known for his strong and best acting in Bollywood. The film curtain was not new for Aamir Khan. He has been associated with the acting world since childhood. His father Tahir Hussain was a filmmaker, but even then he did not want to see his son becoming a hero. This was revealed by the actor himself in Comedian Kapil Sharma’s ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’. Aamir Khan has given more than one superhit films in his 35 -year film career, which remains a favorite of the people even today.
Aamir became an actor against his father
Aamir Khan told on the show that his parents did not want him to become an actor. He said, ‘I worked backstage in the theater for one and a half years and also did 2 plays. My parents and my uncle were a very big filmmaker themselves, but he was against his children coming into the film industry. The reason behind this was that cinema does not have stability. Further, the actor said, ‘You don’t know whether you would be successful or not … they wanted their children to choose a good profession, which had low fluctuations … so they were strongly against acting.’
The first film made superstar
The actor told how he got a chance to enter the acting line due to the Maharashtra bandh. He was about to make a part of a Gujarati play, but 2 days before the performance, the director expelled him. After this, a friend of him approached him for his friend’s film. He was then cast in the film ‘Yaadon Ki Baaraat’. The film was scored by Aamir Khan’s uncle Nasir Hussain. He then worked in ‘Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak’. His first film proved to be a blockbuster at the box office. Today Aamir is the biggest superstar in the Bollywood industry. After the success of this movie, he was offered 400 films.
