On the 5th of August 2024, Swara returns home with the aim of getting her grandmother, Dadi, to reveal the truth. She notices that Dadi’s hand is bandaged and immediately asks her what happened. Meanwhile, Koyel plays her part convincingly in front of Vedant, breaking down in tears. Swara, concerned for Koyel, tells Vedant that she can’t bear to see Koyel in this state and worries about her falling ill.
Swara urges Vedant to stay, but Koyel, realizing her mistake, insists that Vedant should take care of himself in the USA and make sure to video call her twice daily. Just as they are about to leave, the police arrive. They inform Swara that she cannot leave as an investigation is ongoing, and they confiscate her passport to prevent her from leaving the city.
The next morning, Koyel tries to send Dadi to an Ayurvedic center in Kerala for recovery. Swara objects, stating that she is there to take care of Dadi and handle her treatment. Koyel argues that Swara is not a doctor and thus incapable of taking proper care of Dadi. Swara, standing her ground, insists that Dadi will not go anywhere and that she will take care of her.
Vedant questions Swara’s authority to override his mother’s decisions. Swara accuses Koyel of trying to cover up her crimes by sending Dadi away and even suggests that Koyel could kill her. She exposes Koyel as the one responsible for all their problems and praises Prabha for genuinely caring about and loving the family. This enrages Rudra and Vedant.
In a fit of anger, Vedant slaps Swara for disrespecting his mother and demands to know how she could dare insult her. Swara, equally indignant, questions how Vedant could dare raise his hand against her. She continues to reveal the truth about Prabha and Koyel, further infuriating Vedant. He raises his hand to strike Swara again, but his aunt (bua) intervenes, stopping him.
Bua reprimands Vedant, asking if this is the behavior he learned in their household. Vedant defends his actions, questioning what he should do when someone insults his mother. Koyel, continuing her act, appeals to a higher power, lamenting how she is supposed to protect the house from Prabha’s influence and questioning what else Prabha might try to take from her. Swara declares that everything Koyel is controlling belongs to them, including Vedant, who is her own son. The episode ends with this tension-filled scene.
