As a crowd gathers to do the aarti on the first day of Sawan, Pandit ji tells everyone that the temple was built by the Mittal family. Deepika arrives for the aarti but finds that the auspicious time has passed and no one has lit the Diya. She tells Pandit ji that she wants to do the aarti, and he takes her inside the temple.
