A man is traveling with his girlfriend when he presumably gets too close to the edge of the platform.
Mörfelden – A 23 -year -old man has been grasped by a passing freight train and was fatally injured. The police said that he remained between the platform and the tracks. The rescue workers could therefore only determine the death of the man. He was traveling with his 21 -year -old girlfriend in the evening. The train station was unavailable for several hours – with an impact on local and long -distance traffic. The police are now investigating the exact cause of the accident.
According to initial information, the man stood too close to the platform edge. According to initial knowledge, one can rule out a suicidal background as well as a killing. In addition to the emergency services, the emergency pastoral care was also on site.
