On the 24th of August, 2024, a terrifying incident took place in a small village where the fear of the supernatural reigned. The story begins with Mishri’s brother, who took his friends and the groom to an old, abandoned place. This location, known to the villagers as “khandar,” was previously haunted by a dayaan, a wicked witch. Mishri’s brother was determined to prove that the dayaan was no longer a threat. He wanted to claim the place for the villagers and set them free from their fears. Despite the reluctance of the others, he forced them to enter the eerie site.
As they explored the khandar, they took a moment to relax with a drink, but their peace was short-lived. Suddenly, the lanterns and torches they carried went out, and a wild wind began to blow, increasing the tension in the already spooky atmosphere.
Meanwhile, at home, Abhimanyu, another central figure in this story, arrived only to find that someone important, Machharji, was not in his room. Preeti, who was present, informed Abhimanyu of this, and soon they spotted Machharji wandering off in the distance. Abhimanyu chased after him and managed to catch up, only to have Machharji faint once again. Abhimanyu brought him back home, but Machharji, though conscious, was unable to speak clearly. He struggled to communicate, managing only to say “Pra Dayaan,” a phrase that left Abhimanyu puzzled. Despite the confusion, Abhimanyu tried to reassure everyone, insisting that Bindu, whom they believed to be responsible for much of the village’s troubles, was safely in jail.
Preeti, concerned about Machharji’s condition, called a doctor, who diagnosed him with a panic attack and administered an injection to calm him down. But this was just the beginning of the horror.
Back at the khandar, Mishri’s parents and in-laws began searching for the missing groom. Their worry grew when a child informed them that he had overheard Anand and Gagan, two of the groom’s friends, saying they would visit the dayaan’s khandar. This news sent everyone into a panic, and they hurried to the khandar, fearing the worst.
Upon reaching the site, they were greeted with a horrifying sight: all the men, including the groom, were found hanging dead, their heads twisted in unnatural angles. This gruesome discovery shocked everyone, and it wasn’t long before Abhimanyu received a call from the police station about the incident. He rushed to the scene.
As Abhimanyu arrived at the khandar, he was horrified by the scene before him. The dead bodies of the men hung ominously, and the villagers, overcome with grief and anger, turned on him. They grabbed his shirt, shaking him and hurling accusations, blaming him for the deaths. Abhimanyu was at a loss for words, standing silently as the villagers vented their fury. His mind raced back to a warning given by Bindu, who had foretold that a terrible night would come within the next ten years, a night when Abhimanyu would be blamed for a series of deaths. Bindu had urged Abhimanyu to stay away to avoid taking the blame.
Amidst the chaos, Abhimanyu questioned the constables who had been guarding Bindu in jail, asking them if they had seen Bindu recently. They confirmed that Bindu was indeed in front of them, seemingly secure behind bars. This left Abhimanyu in a conundrum, as the horror unfolding before him could not be easily explained.
Determined to uncover the truth, Abhimanyu instructed the constables to call the forensic team and send the bodies for post-mortem. He accepted responsibility for the situation and vowed to find out what really happened. The constables, however, warned him that it was dangerous to remain in the area, as it was considered to be the dayaan’s territory. Despite their warnings, Abhimanyu insisted that they carefully search the area for clues, convinced that there was evidence to be found if only they looked closely enough.
Abhimanyu was not willing to see things from the villagers’ superstitious perspective. Though Bindu was in jail, Abhimanyu suspected that another evil force, possibly Pablo, was behind this tragedy. He urged the constables to send the bodies for further examination and return home, while he stayed behind to continue the investigation.
As the episode concluded, blood was seen rolling down from Bindu’s eyes, hinting at a sinister connection between Bindu and the horrifying events at the khandar.
This chilling story leaves us with many questions. Is Bindu truly behind bars, or is she somehow responsible for the deaths? What is the meaning of Machharji’s cryptic warning about the dayaan? And most importantly, who or what is truly responsible for the deaths at the khandar?
