The VfL Wolfsburg has secured the services of national striker Cora Zicai. The 20-year-old changes free of charge from SC Freiburg within the Bundesliga to the Lower Saxony and receives a contract until June 30, 2028.
Top talent in Germany
Zicai is one of the largest German talents. She has scored two goals in her three international matches so far. «VfL has shown over many years how good it is and how high it can play. The conversations were very good, and from the start I felt comfortable with the concept that was shown to me here, »she said in a message from Wolfsburg.
Born in Freiburg, she has been playing for the SC since 2017 and has gone through all the youngsters of the DFB. Zicai is considered a safe candidate for the German contingent at the European Championships in Switzerland in July.
