The quiz show with Günther Jauch celebrates a quota high among the young spectators. WWM still had a look against the ZDF thriller “Wiener Blood”.

In 1999 RTL showed the first episode of “Who Wetting Millionaire?”. Even then, Günther Jauch led through the quiz show. More than 25 years later, the format delights millions of people. Now WWM was even able to look forward to a quota record, as “dwdl.de” reports.

The latest edition, which RTL showed on Monday evening on TV, reached 3.31 million viewers, which corresponds to a market share of 15.2 percent. The show was even more successful among the younger audience. The 14- to 49-year-olds came “Who will be a millionaire?” on a market share of 17.8 percent. This is how high the market share was last in January when the Cologne broadcaster broadcast an edition of the special “Who Weren Millionaire? 3 million euro week”. On Monday evening, however, RTL relied on a regular episode. The quiz show recently achieved such a high market share more than five years ago, according to “dwdl.de”.

The highest ratio of the 14- to 49-year-old achieved “Who will be a millionaire?” By the way on May 28, 2001. At that time, RTL showed a prominent special-with Thomas Gottschalk and Heidi Klum. With the edition, the broadcaster achieved a market share of 53.7 percent in the advertising -relevant target group.

Despite the success on Monday evening, RTL did not arrive against ZDF. The Mainz broadcaster radiated the crime thriller “Wiener Blood – Mountain Court”, taking 6.08 million viewers (24.1 percent market share) in front of the screens. With the younger target group, however, the film achieved only a market share of 5.7 percent.

The ARD put on the documentary “Felix Neureuther – Alpine Tourism in danger”. 2.41 million people were interested in them, which made a market share of 9.5 percent. For the 14 to 49 year olds, the market share corresponded to 7.8 percent.
