Senior taxpayers in the state of Colorado could receive a property tax, rent and heat refund from the PTC Tax Credit program (for its acronym in English) of up to $1,112 dollars.
According to the Colorado Department of Revenue this stimulus check It will be sent to senior citizens regardless of whether or not they have a Social Security number.. To qualify for this payment you must meet some requirements:
- Be 65 years old or older.
- Have lived in the state of Colorado between January 1 and December 31, 2023.
- Have an income limit of no more than $18,026 for single taxpayers and $24,345 for married taxpayers filing jointly.
- Be a surviving spouse over 58 years of age or disabled.
- Have declared property taxes, heating or rent bills in the 2023 tax year.
- Not having been declared a dependent on another taxpayer’s income tax return.
According to the entity, the state has a fund of $7 million dollars for reimbursements.
Finally, those who have submitted and approved their application between June 11 and September 10, 2024 They will receive their stimulus check starting October 5 and those who submit the application before December 10 will have to wait for their payments until January 5, 2025.
