“Total misunderstanding”
On Thursday, April 10, Evaëlle’s parents were released from the court to the announcement of the release by the teacher’s magistrates considering that the elements were “discordant, indirect, not very detailed” or were “adapted and legitimate behaviors being the authority that a teacher in class must demonstrate”.
Marie Dupuis, Evaëlle’s mother had expressed, at the end of the verdict, her “total misunderstanding”: “Certain motivations do not correspond to reality. We will have to explain, once again, what happened. Justice endorses the behavior of this professor, there has been mistreatment, it cannot be denied. »»
The serene teacher at the idea of a second trial
Questioned by the information chain, Pascale B. said this Tuesday “very serene at the announcement of the call of the prosecution”: “In view of the pressure that there was during all these years in this file, it is not surprising (…). All these accusations, that was what plunged me into stress and important anxiety, today I do not have this stress and I am quite convinced that the outcome of this second trial will be the same as the first. »»
At first instance, the prosecution had requested 18 months suspended prison sentence and a final ban on teaching.
