It must be said that the Vaumain was not always called the Vaumain. Varmonis Villa in XIe century, villa manus around 1220, Waumais around 1230, Vallis Media in 1240… and therefore today the Vaumain. The inhabitants are therefore invited to offer a name adapted to the village by explaining the why of the comment.
