Despite US citizenship, President Trump wants to refer criminals from the United States. The President of El Salvador signals his willingness.
Washington-US President Donald Trump wants to show particularly violent criminals from the USA, even though they are US citizens. This reports the news agency Reuters. “We always have to adhere to the laws, but we also have local criminals who push people in front of U-Bahnen, the older women hit the back of the head with a baseball bat when they look away. These are absolute monsters,” said Trump on Monday (April 14). “I would like to lock them into the group of those we want to get out of the country. But you have to look at the laws.”
With his statements, Trump was specifically about criminals from El Salvador. The deported should be locked up there. The US government has already brought hundreds of migrants to a prison for serious criminals. The Trump administration pays six million dollars for this. These measures are criticized enormously – also because there is apparently a man among the detained people who was accidentally deported.
Trump wants to send violent US citizens to El Salvador
Previously, the President of El Salvador, Nayib Bukele, had signaled his willingness that US prisoners are put into prisons in the country. Then Trump said: He “love” the idea of deporting US citizens to El Salvador. Trump’s statements made now made during a visit to Bukele in Washington. The two statesmen demonstrated unity in their conversation.
Next bad news for migrants: Trump and Bukele promise mutual help
Trump thanked Bukele for the collaboration. With a view to the detainees, he said republican: “It is a sin that you have done and you come to help us,” reports the German press agency. In the same breath, Trump threw his predecessor Joe biden that he pursued a policy of “open borders” during his presidency.

President Bukele, for his part, confirmed the support of his country for the United States in the deportations. “We know that you have a problem with crime and terrorism and that you need help,” he said. “We are a small country, but if we can help, we’ll do it.” ((Jan-Frederik Wendt)))
