In full digital development, Transaviathe Low-Cost airline of the Air France-KLM group, is progressively incorporating avant-garde technologies such as artificial intelligence and Machine Learning to continue improving its operations and offer an increasingly fluid and innovative experience to its clients.

The company carries out a series of strategic projects that consolidate its growth, from the renewal of its fleet and the expansion of its destinations network, to the modernization of its management systems and reserves. These initiatives aim to improve operational efficiency, optimize resources and reduce the environmental impact of their operations.

Within the framework of this technological evolution, Transavia will open 20 new positions in its IT teams in France during 2025. These positions include profiles such as business analysts, systems architects, cybersecurity engineers and specialists in Cloud integration, among others. Although these opportunities are aimed at the French labor market, it is open to any European candidate and are part of a global vision that reflects the company’s commitment to innovation and talent development in the technological field.

Among the most prominent improvements is the implementation of a new operating management system designed for crews and equipment on land. This automated tool allows you to anticipate possible incidents, better manage delays and contribute to a more efficient allocation of airplanes, which translates into a significant reduction in carbon emissions, especially on medium and long distance flights.

In addition, Transavia has initiated the renewal of its reserve systems, through the update of the Navitaire platform, with the aim of further facilitating the purchase and management process. For example, passengers can select options directly from automatic terminals at the airport, without the need for face -to -face assistance.

To this is added the incorporation of artificial intelligence in key areas such as dynamic tarification, demand prediction and preventive maintenance, which reinforces the efficiency of processes and improves the quality of the service. These tools also allow to optimize commercial decisions and improve the occupation of flights, by adapting the offer more precisely to the real demand.

The commitment to technology also extends to operations on land already board, through the use of mobile devices to digitize daily tasks, improve punctuality and promote eco-pilage practices that reduce fuel consumption. In the terrestrial field, the deployment of mobile terminals allows agents to digital operational information in a digital way, which speeds up the processes and contributes directly to greater punctuality on flights.

In parallel, Transavia reinforces its technological infrastructure with a new data platform based on Serverless Architecture and Cloud Technologies of the latest generation. This platform, which processes information from the new Airbus A320neo, meets the highest safety standards thanks to a “Zero Trust” approach. In addition, the company has developed a business continuity plan for its operating control center, with solutions that guarantee its activity even in times of crisis, and has incorporated systems that allow the safe work of its equipment, strengthening mobility without compromising cybersecurity.

Advancing in its modernization strategy, Transavia has begun to integrate collaborative tools based on artificial intelligence, such as Github Copilot, currently in use by its data engineers, and a new internal generative AI that will be operational in April to optimize project management and internal communication.
