An island all by itself? This dream is not as unrealistic as some may think.
A villa on a Caribbean island, a previously uninhabited island in front of the Atlantic coast of Ireland or a tiny, private idyll in Brazil: Islands and real estate on the world are on islands – sometimes even at affordable prices. Basically, you should first consider what type of island you are looking for: a Canadian sea island, a rugged rock island or would you prefer the classic sandy beach island in the Caribbean?

The area is said to be a paradise for divers due to its proximity to the “Great Blue Hole”.
According to Vladi-Private-islands.de, the Cat Cay island, which belong to the Bahamas, is due to 2.7 million euros. It is easy to reach because the next largest island of Chub Cay has a small runway. The island is recommended. It has sandy beaches and untouched nature.

Only then does the island belong to them – in contrast, for example, the lease, for example, is where you do not own the island and can only use it for a certain time. In addition, you cannot insure yourself against expropriation.
Another important factor when buying island is access: you first have to open up the island, for example set up a port, anchor or landing site, build a house, and set up electricity, fresh and wastewater, telephone and internet and, depending on the location of heating or air conditioning, additional costs will apply. Not to mention the journey, which, on remote islands, is not only a cost but also a time factor.
