The former president Jimmy Carter He turned 100 on Tuesday.
Former President Jimmy Carter has defied the odds and as he officially turns 100, he attributes his longevity to the strong relationships he has had in his life and especially his marriage.
James Earl Carter, Jr., better known as Jimmy Carter, was the 39th president of the United States between 1977 and 1981. He has outlived every president in the country’s history, earning him the distinction of being the living former president of older age.
