In a traffic accident on the A4 between Bautzen and Weißenberg towards Dresden, the driver of a small van was seriously injured. The 44-year-old had strayed from the road with his vehicle in the early morning at a parking lot and crashed into a parked truck, a spokesman for the police said. Accordingly, this was in an access to the parking lot. The driver was in the truck and remained unharmed.
According to the information, the driver of the van was recovered from the heavily destroyed vehicle and taken to a hospital with a helicopter. The highway had to be closed for several hours.
