Santander has everything prepared for the National

A total of 155 regatists, aged between 11 and 16, have taken the area of ​​Duna Zaera and Cear Prince Felipe de Santander, starting the measurements and registrations prior to the Spanish Championship of the Optimist class.

The days of Tuesday 15 and Wednesday, April 16 are dedicated to the confirmation of registration and the regulatory measurements, an essential step before the competition that will take place in the waters of the Cantabrian capital. The championship will have up to 12 regattas distributed in a qualifying series and a final.

In addition, the inaugural ceremony of the Spanish Championship at the Festivals Palace is celebrated on Wednesday, where the presence of authorities and representatives of the candle world is expected.

The bustle of the preparations is already felt in the Duna Zaera and the Cear de Vela, where more than a hundred and a half athletes and their technicians are ready to compete in this prestigious national event.
