Robert Vadra, who left for ED office on foot, summons was issued in land deal case, now inquiry is being done

In the Gurugram Land Deal case, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has issued another summons to Robert Vadra. Summons have been sent to Vadra under PMLA. Robert Vadra has left for the ED office on foot. Earlier on 8 April, summons was also sent to Vadra. Vadra did not appear before the ED that day.

Congress workers shouted slogans

Gurugram is interrogating ED Robert Vadra on the land deal case. A large number of Congress workers were also present outside on reaching Robert Vadra ED office. Congress workers shouted slogans against the government.

Called 15 times in last 20 years- Vadra

Vadra said, ‘This is political vengeance. The government is misusing central agencies. Along with this, Vadra said, ‘There is nothing in this matter. I was called 15 times in the last twenty years and every time more than 10 hours were questioned. I have submitted 23000 documents.

Congress workers greeted

Vadra also greeted his supporters i.e. Congress workers during this period. Earlier, Vadra did not appear on the first summons released on 8 April. On Tuesday, Vadra reached the ED office and arrived to cooperate in the inquiry.

Inquiry is being made in this case

The central investigative agency is investigating financial irregularities related to his company Skylight Hospitality. According to the ED, Vadra’s company bought a 3.5 -acre plot from Omkareshwar Properties in February 2008 for Rs 7.5 crore in Shikofur, Gurgaon. After this, Vadra’s company sold this land to real estate giant DLF for Rs 58 crore.

The central agency suspects that this amount may be part of the money laundering scheme, so it is checking the money behind this unexpected profit.
