How should you play the Powerball Double Play?
Double Play is a drawing that gives Powerball players a second chance. You can participate again with your Powerball numbers in a separate drawing, whose maximum cash prize is $10 million.
To play, you must mark the Double Play feature on your Powerball ticket by paying an additional $1 per play.
Powerball tickets that include the Double Play feature can win prizes in both drawings.
How do you get your prize?
As with Powerball, Double Play prizes must be claimed in the state where you purchased the winning ticket. Players in general can claim a prize of up to $600 dollars at any establishment authorized to sell lottery in the geographic location where they obtained the ticket.
Prizes greater than $600 can be claimed at lottery headquarters in each case. However, there are some authorized establishments, whose address you will have to consult accordingly.
The time that administrations give you to claim your ticket ranges between 90 days and one year, depending on the restrictions of the jurisdiction in which the ticket was sold.
