On the European defense level majority and opposition in scattered order

Pending the details on the European rearmament plan, and above all of the peace between Moscow and Kiev still far away, Matteo Salvini continues to attack Emmanuel Macron: with him “we would already be on the verge of war”. Not only that. In an attempt to diminish him, the League vice premier adds dry: “I don’t think that any Macron can stop peace” which they discuss, instead, “Zelensky, Putin and Trump”. Speaking in Bologna a stone’s throw from Piazza Maggiore, in one of the 1000 gazebo set up by the League in as many Italian squares for double peace (fiscal and in Ukraine), Salvini confirms his favorite ‘target’ in Europe. It is the French president, sponsor of the sending of European troops to Kiev and the “nuclear shield”, which has always been labeled with little courteous names – “a crazy” is the last of the series – and to which the Northern League would not entrust the money of the Italians.

This is the password chosen and repeated (probably not surprisingly) by the Foreign Minister: “This is not a rearmo plan – it specifies – is a choice to guarantee security” also in the daily and practical life of citizens. Perhaps the international and European events on the horizon, which could at least clarify the picture is complicated. Tomorrow and Tuesday the financial ministers of the Union will take stock of the financial consequences of the defense plan, including the real derogations from the stability pact. On Wednesday, it will be up to the Ministers of Defense of Italy, France, Germany, Great Britain and Poland, simultaneously with the first comparison between the USA and Ukraine in Riad after the slap of Trump in Zelensky in Mondovisiono.
