There will be no changes in the time change, The BOE confirms what no one expectedafter years with high hopes. As much as we try to understand the time change, it is impossible to justify it in these times. Nowadays the sunrise or sunset are not our main problem when it comes to working, but rather we are affected to a greater extent by an electricity bill that continues to grow at times. With the time change we should try to save something, but it seems impossible.
The fact that it is night at too early an hour in the afternoon is something that affects us much more than we imagine. The day ends when we still have a lot to do. Practically, the end of the day in schools is sunset. With this, we use more light than we could imagine in these days that we have ahead of us and which in reality may end up being what marks a before and after. The time change is just around the corner and the BOE confirms what no one expected.
No change in time change
He time change is closer than we could imagine. We are facing a situation that may fully affect us in one way or another. We must start thinking about what is to come and what may end up happening, in these types of elements that are fundamental.
Without a doubt, the time has come to start thinking about what is to come and everything that is waiting for us. A script twist that may end up being the one that affects us fully and ends up making a significant difference to us. That hour that we seem to have gained with the setback that we are going to suffer at the end of this month, brightens our day and makes us go for days or weeks at the mercy of a clock that we do not control.
Older people and children are the ones who suffer the most from this change that distances us from what would be usual and immerses us in a sea of doubts that may end up making us rethink whether or not it is a measure that will help us save or make it worth it.
The BOE confirms what no one expected
What no one expected, when we thought that, finally, we were going to get rid of the time change, we realize that we are back to where we were at the beginning, with our eyes once again on a clock that can bring us important news. Without a doubt, we must face a series of changes that will continue to come.
In the BOE we have published the time changes that will fully affect us and that may end up being the ones that accompany us in these days that we have ahead of us and that we must take into account. What no one expected is that until 2026 we already have the dates marked on the calendar. The dates for the change from summer to winter time are as follows:
- 2024: Sunday, October 27.
- 2025: Sunday, October 26.
- 2026: Sunday, October 25.
Meanwhile, the dates on which the schedule will change from winter to summer will be:
- 2024: Sunday, March 31.
- 2025: Sunday, March 30.
- 2026: Sunday, March 29.
The times of these changes will remain the same: «In compliance with the provisions of article 3 of Royal Decree 236/2002, of March 1, the end of the summer time period will take place at three in the morning (two hours in the morning in the Canary Islands) of the dates indicated in the previous paragraph. At that moment the official Spanish time will be delayed by sixty minutes, so that day will have an official duration of twenty-five hours.
Despite the fact that the BOE recognizes that: “In its report, dated March 20, 2019, the Commission of experts concluded, on the one hand, that it was not advisable to produce any hasty change in time zones while there was no consensus shared and a practical dissemination to our citizens of the risks and opportunities that it entails. On the other hand, the analysis of time zones must always be linked to the use of time in order to clarify concepts and seek patterns of behavior that seek certain shared models such as that of co-responsibility.
We have a few years left to continue turning the clock back or forward, despite not being one of the best possible options, we must be prepared to face this situation for a few more years. Against all odds, the BOE continues to publish the time change.
