What did Bangalore Airport say?
Meanwhile, Bangalore Airport issued an explanation. According to established practices, English and Kannada language continues to be used in the display for effective assistance of passengers. Additionally, the entire terminal has been displayed in English, Kannada and Hindi.
The incident took place a few days after Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIL) included the Kannada language option in its website. According to a press release issued by BIL on Monday, this new option will help passengers to get real-time flight information in Kannada, which will make information about departure, arrival and delay directly available to them. In addition, a detailed FAQ will also be provided in Kannada, which will make it easier to answer general questions and simplify the travel process.
