What happened?
According to the information released by police sources to the EFE agency and the same ones that published the Spanish newspaper El Mundo, the Portuguese athlete had stolen a high-end cell phone from another person after the latter supposedly took a photograph of him without his consent, which made the player in question angry.
The events took place around 5:30 a.m. and Nunes was released after giving a statement at the Arganzuela district police station, and is now awaiting trial. The situation resulted in a lot of tension and media attention, mainly due to the notoriety and relevance of the player in the world of football.

“Nunes ended up in the cells of the Arganzuela police station. The player notified his lawyer who began the process to expedite his release.
