The LEC lands in Madrid on April 26 and 27 with games at Madrid Arena and a week of activities on the video game campus, consolidating the capital as a European reference in Esports.
For the first time in more than ten years, the League of Legends Emea Championship (LEC)the maximum European competition of the popular Moba by Riot Games, leaves Berlin to celebrate an official day in another city. The chosen one is Madridwhich will host the meetings on the days April 26 and 27 at Madrid Arena.
The event will bring together four of the most prominent clubs of the competitive panorama: Movistar Koi, Giantx, G2 Esports and Fnatic. The appointment has generated enormous expectation among the Spanish community, exhausting the tickets in just a few minutes. Spain currently has a strong presence in the LEC, with three national teams in the League -Movistar Koi, Heretics and Giantx-, which reflects the solidity of the local egosystem of eSports and the enthusiasm of its fans.
Madrid in game accompanies the LEC with a week full of activities
As part of this celebration, the Madrid in Game Municipal Initiative has organized a special schedule throughout the week in the ESports Center of the video game campuslocated in the Casa de Campo. Space, Free and open to all the publicwill host activities from previous Monday until the day of the event.
Among the proposals a daily challenge stands out “Find Teem”whose best classified at the end of the week will receive a double ticket for Sunday at Madrid Arena. In addition, on Friday a Free 1V1 Tournament with Full Fearless mode (Riot Unlocked), which will also reward the winner with a double entry. Throughout the week, the center computers will be available with Riot Unlocked for those who reserve space and wish to train.
On Saturday 26, the eve of the matches, the Experience Center of the Campus will become a set for the Live program “Madrid in Lec”conducted by commentator Alejandro ‘Kuentin’ Cotrina (Movistar Koi), as prior to the great event.
