
Long-term employees were awarded the city of Memmingen by Mayor Jan Rothenbacher at a reception in the town hall for their 25-year or 40 years of belonging.
Memmingen – The six employees received documents and gifts as an honor. “With your valuable commitment you enrich the administration every day and take care of the well -being of the citizens of our city. I would like to thank you personally and on behalf of the city for your years of loyalty,” praised Rothenbacher.
The honor for 25 years at the city of Memmingen could be happy: Dagmar Bayer (Kulturamt), Georg Schneider and Tanja Zauzig (both city nursery).
Rainer Mang, Rainer Niesenböck and Silvia Wolf have been employed at the city of Memmingen for 40 years.
Rainer Mang worked as a caretaker for many years at the city of Memmingen. For example, he was on duty in the Elsbethenschule and the Amendingen school. Here he looked committed, independent and team -oriented for the benefit of the students. He was an estimated part of the college and also a good musician who liked to contribute to school events. As a volunteer firefighter, he was enormous help with all questions of security and enriched the team with a lot of what went beyond his area of responsibility. In autumn 2023 he entered the exemption phase of his partial retirement.
For more than 36 years, Rainer Niesenböck has been shaping the graphic face of the city with his work in the formation site. He always takes great creativity and high commitment. Regardless of whether flyers, posters, roll-ups, brochures and much more-when it comes to design, he is there and is available to help and advise all offices.
The third in the group, which was honored for her 40-year service, is Silvia Wolf. After her apprenticeship, she was initially used in the citizens’ pen before moving to the city information or the event facilities. Here she has been responsible for the administration of the town hall and the Maximilian-Kolbe house for many years, as well as for the administration of the ice rink. With great commitment, she takes care of all matters reliably and helpful and is always open to new things.
