FC Bayern brought in three important points against FC St. Pauli. Two stars towered out. In turn, one again didn’t know how to convince.
After two disappointing games in the league, FC Bayern Munich found the road to success. Against FC St. Pauli, the record champion prevailed 3: 2 (1: 1) – and kept pursuer Bayer Leverkusen in the table with six points.
Most recently, the Munich team had lost against VfL Bochum (2: 3) and only one point at Union Berlin (1: 1). Now the eleven of coach Vincent Kompany was finally able to cheer again over three points and continue to take the 34th championship title in the club’s history.
In the 17th minute, Harry Kane initially gave the favorite with his 22nd goal of the season. However, the equalization for St. Pauli was not long in coming: Elias Saad scored 1-1 in the 27th minute. After the change of sides, the record champion was determined by the game – and was rewarded by a double pack by Leroy Sané (53./71.). The DFB star therefore also earned the T-Online note 1.
But not all Bayern players knew to convince. This was not only because the home team had to tremble again due to the late connection goal through St. Paulis Lars Ritzka (90.+3). The team was not always easy to defensively.
