A little tour and comes back. Nearly eighteen months after being put back from the NRJ antenna after having been charged with rape and sexual assault by several women, host Sébastien Cauet will return to the antenna of Europe 2, reports puremédias.

And it is a bit of a “savior” that it comes back, since the station experienced a new fall in its audiences after the landing in disaster, a few days ago, of Benjamin Castaldi. Europe 2 therefore relies on a “regular” (CAUET was director of the antenna from 2000 to 2001) to find colors.
“Coco” will therefore sign his comeback on Monday, April 28, 2025, according to a press release sent by his new station on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. He will lead a “morning at the rate of a pop playlist” from 7 am to 11 am, every morning of the week.

“I am delighted with the arrival of Sébastien Cauet, a true popular artist in perfect adequacy with the project and the ambitions that we display for Europe 2 (…) he will drive on the air a positive dynamic with the originality that we know,” said Alain Liberty, director general of the Musical Radios of Lagardère Radio, in the press release.

As a reminder, Cauet, targeted by five complaints, had been indicted in May 2024 for rape and sexual assault on four women. Landed from NRJ, he had tried to take legal action on the air. He had, had said his lawyers, had to dismiss the 24 employees of his production house following this case.
