You are tired of seeing your plumber’s buttocks as soon as he intervenes under your sink? Don’t panic, Leroy Merlin found the solution. To prevent craftsmen from involuntarily exposing their anatomy when they look or kneel, the brand recently launched an unprecedented underwear, reports La Dépêche du Midi.
Called “Leroy Merl ‘Undies”, this high waist boxer is specially designed to cover the kidneys and thus avoid the famous “plumber’s line”. For the time being, however, this product is only available in Portugal.
A marketing operation
Flocked with the brand logo, this underpants is distributed free of charge in the fifty Leroy Merlin stores in the country. Our colleagues specify that it only exists in limited edition.
This useful and offbeat initiative is accompanied by a humorous advertising campaign in the form of a video. Broadcast for several weeks, the latter met a great success on social networks.
No marketing in France
With this new product, Leroy Merlin therefore responds to a well -known problem of building professionals while offering a communication operation to say the least. A winning combo.
For the time being, no distribution is planned in France, in stores or online. The craftsmen of France will therefore still have to wait … or be inventive.
