Shoaib Jamai has said that there will be prayers on the streets on filling mosques.
New Delhi: Delhi AIMIM president Shoaib Jamai has said that if the place is filled in the mosque on the day of Jumme, then there will be prayers on the road. He said that it is not Sambhal or Meerut Delhi, and there will be prayers on the roofs of roads, Idgahs and houses if it is filled in the mosque. He also said that it is the responsibility of the police administration to make arrangements. Let us know that recently in Sambhal and Meerut of UP, the administration had banned offering Namaz on the road on the last day of Ramadan.
‘Police administration is responsible for arranging’
Shoaib Jamaai said on X, ‘Some of the BJP leaders are making false statements about Eid prayers in Delhi. They should understand that it is not Sambhal or Meerut, Delhi, yes, everyone’s Delhi. There will also be Eid prayers, and if the place in the mosque falls short, then there will be on the road, on the roofs of Eidgahs and houses. If the main road can be closed for several hours during the Kandar Yatra, then it can also be closed for 15 minutes during Namaz. It is the responsibility of the police administration to make arrangements.
‘There is no restriction on offering namaz in traditional way’
At the same time, ASP Sris Chandra of Sambhal said on Thursday that there is no restriction on offering Namaz in a traditional manner, but a large number of gathering on roofs has been banned to prevent accidents. Talking to reporters on preparations for Zuma goodbye prayers, the ASP said that people should pay prayers peacefully, to ensure that sufficient number of police forces have been deployed under the sector and zone. He said that in the peace committee meeting on Wednesday, the matter of offering Namaz on the roofs was raised by some people.
‘Namaz should be performed only in the prescribed Idgahs and mosques’
Chandra said that in the same way, he has been forbidden to offer Namaz there in view of the possibility of accident from offering Namaz on the road. The ASP said that it is being ensured that in the traditional manner in which the mosques and Idgahs have been offered prayers, it should be done safely. Superintendent of Police Krishna Kumar Bishnoi said that clear instructions have been given that Namaz should be performed only in the prescribed Idgahs and mosques and not on the roads.
