A fire in Hadamar in the district of Limburg-Weilburg occurred on Tuesday night. As the police announced, the fire broke out in a barn in the Niederweyer district before 0.40 a.m., according to initial findings, and spread to two adjacent houses. Fire brigades from the entire area were called in.
Nobody was injured. The damage is estimated at at least 500,000 euros. The cause of the fire was initially unclear. In the meantime, according to the police, there were problems with the supply of extinguishing water.
The authorities called on residents in a larger area around the fire to keep doors and windows closed. There was a warning of the fire.
