After an accident with a manure transporter in the Schmalkalden-Meiningen district, the consequences for the environment are still unclear. The investigation into any Environmental damage Due to the Lower Water Authority and the Suhl criminal police, the police still continue. Around 15,000 liters of manure had expired from the van on Tuesday, some of which also reached an adjacent river. This flows into the Werra.
On Tuesday afternoon, the slurry transporter had overturned in a curve between Walldorf and Meiningen. This fell on an oncoming car. Three people were injured, including a 7-year-old boy. The rescue and cleanup work was only completed in the early evening.
