A 66 -year -old man was seriously injured in an explosion in Lingen (Emsland district). He is said to have worked with a gas burner on a private property at lunchtime, the police said. He then placed the device in a dandruff in which there was an explosion a little later. The shed caught fire.
The 66-year-old was taken to a hospital for treatment with an ambulance. The investigation into the exact cause of the explosion continues. The damage is estimated at around 50,000 euros.
