Criminal technician Sebastian Haller was a constant in the “Tatort” team from Dortmund for years. Now it is over. Haller has been on board since 2021 and played along in the episode “Heal World” for the first time. The cases “masks”, “greed and fear”, “cash”, “love me!”, “You stay here”, “Love is pat” and “made in China”. With the Sunday thriller on March 30, 2025, the “crime scene” career ends after a total of nine missions as a forensic technician Sebastian Haller.
He celebrated his entry four years ago as a new friend of Martina Bönisch and initially remained for several episodes. But after a first relationship crisis, the relationship in “Love me!” With the death of Bönisch. Many spectators stood on the Fabers page – also because Tilman Strauß represented the figure Haller as greasy, unsympathetic and corrupt and as a classic antagonist. With the death of Sebastian Haller’s “crime scene: siding” this feud now ends. Due to the poisoned relationship with his arch enemy, Faber is even acted as a suspect, but at the end of the episode this can be cleared.
At the request of T-Online, the responsible WDR did not want to comment on the decision that Sebastian Haller removed from the “Tatort” series. It is therefore unclear who will take over the role of the KTU boss in Dortmund in the future. When was the 43-year-old Tilman Strauß learned from his end? Also unclear. As an actor, he will now have to look for new, lucrative offers. Strauss can often be seen in episode roles on TV: From “in all friendship” to “the old” to the “police call 110”, he has already been in the vita as an actor.
