Veteran Indian captain MS Dhoni and Suresh Raina were seen dancing openly on Tuesday. Dhoni and Raina can be seen showing their dance moves in a video of star Indian wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant’s sister’s wedding function. Pant’s sister Sakshi, who was engaged last year, is going to tie the knot this week. The wedding functions are taking place in Mussoorie. Pant was part of the Indian team that won the Champions Trophy 2025 final in Dubai on Sunday morning and joined the family members to celebrate.
Celebration in Dehradun
Dhoni, who had a close relationship with Pant and his family, arrived in Dehradun on Tuesday to attend the ceremony with his wife Sakshi. Dhoni will be seen playing for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2025. The five -time champion team will start their campaign on 23 March against the arch -rivals Mumbai Indians at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The former Indian and CSK captain was retained by Chennai -based franchise for Rs 4 crore before the IPL 2025 mega auction. Before visiting Dehradun, Dhoni attended the CSK camp in Chennai and started his preparations for IPL 2025. The 43 -year -old cricketer last played a competitive match against RCB in Bengaluru on 18 May 2024 but failed to win CSK and qualify for the playoffs.
Pant has been the most expensive player
Pant is fully prepared to lead Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2025. In January, he was appointed the new captain of this franchise in Lucknow. Pant joined LSG for Rs 27 crore in the IPL 2025 mega auction by Delhi Capitals. He is the most expensive player in the history of IPL. The left-handed batsman will play his first IPL match for LSG on March 24 against his former team Delhi Capitals, Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy of Visakhapatnam at ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium.
