“Palestinian liberation: at the heart of justice and global decolonization.” Here is the theme of the day organized by the Sunbula association, at the Saint-Nicolas de Compiègne rooms, Saturday April 19 from 2:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
On the poster of this free entry event, there is the Palestine card. A Palestine that extends from the river (the Jordan) to the sea (the Mediterranean). Without the Gaza border. No mention of Israel, like the poster of the 2024 demonstration.
In 2024, the organizers wanted to “scratch Israel from the card. “We are a cultural association that wants to bring down the walls of misunderstanding,” said the Sunbula association, organizer of the event. There is no question of questioning the existence of Israel, nor of denying the rights of Palestine. “
LDH is not anti -Semitic
On the poster, there are the logos of Gaza Compiègne, the Actus collective, the city of Compiègne and the Human Rights League (LDH Compiègne-Noyon section). Last year, the LDH found “unacceptable that we suggest that we are for the eradication of Israel”.
“LDH has never been and will never be for the eradication of Israel,” wrote Laurence Larédo-Cahour. The LDH does not become anti -Semitic because it defends the Palestinian people and criticizes the colonialist policy of Netanyahu. Anti -Semitism has been flowing into the veins of LDH since its birth in 1898 as part of the fight against anti -Semitism at the time of the Dreyfus affair. All these amalgams are unworthy. “
