Borussia Dortmund is despite a strong quarter -final secondary against FC Barcelona from the Champions League Eliminated. After the 0: 4 in the first leg, a 3-1 home win was not enough to reach the semi-finals. Instead, Barcelona moves into the next round, which is either against FC Bayern Munich or Inter Milan.
Serhou Guirassy shot his team with three goals (11th minute, 49./76.) In the domestic Signal Iduna Park almost a sensation. A bitter own goal of Ramy Bensebaini (54.), however, brought Barcelona back in the meantime and Dortmund out of the game. With the victory, BVB ended the successful series of the previously undefeated Catalans for 24 competitive games.
