Bukele said he couldn’t do anything for a Salvadorian deported from the USA who is held in a high -security prison in the Central American country.
President Bukele, for his part, confirmed the support of his country for the United States in the deportations. “We know that you have a problem with crime and terrorism and that you need help,” he said. “We are a small country, but if we can help, we’ll do it.”
The Trump government declares to a US federal court that it is not authorized to bring a man who was wrongly deported to El Salvador to the United States. The man is in foreign custody. The Supreme US Court of Justice had instructed the Trump government to enable Kilmar Abrego Garcias (Supreme Court) to return.
