After his incident at Paris Fashion Week, Belinda remembered what happened and spoke about the harsh criticism she has received. Last week, the Mexican singer suffered a fall during the L’Oreal fashion show.
In an interview with the magazine Elle Mexico, The singer revealed some details about the day of the incident, such as, for example, that she could not rehearse her walk on the catwalk.
“That day it was raining a lot. I couldn’t rehearse because it was raining and it was impossible,” Belinda said.
The singer also confessed that, after watching the videos, she does not know how she managed to stand up and continue with the parade as if nothing had happened.
“I don’t know how I did it, really. Because I watch the videos and say: ‘It can’t be how I got up and changed my face.’ I think that’s why people think it was all an act, because I really got up and continued,” said the singer.
“But I think it’s that inner strength, that I’m also a Leo, and the Leo inside me came out and said: ‘I get up, I continue, I finish,’ and I think we will never forget that moment,” he added.
Belinda confessed that after the parade she cried a lot. “It hurt me, not so much the physical blow—because I did hit myself and got bruises—but my heart. At the time I thought: ‘What a disappointment in myself, why?!’” she said.
“And then I saw so many people who supported me, from Jane Fonda and Andie MacDowell, that I felt a lot better. At the end of the day, everything happens for a reason,” he added.
Regarding the criticism, the singer assured that what happened to her on the catwalk could have happened to anyone. “It was an accident that can happen to anyone.”

Last weekend, Belinda was one of the artists invited to model on the catwalk at the L’Oreal Spring/Summer 2025 collection show.
When leaving, The singer took just a few steps, stumbled and fell to the ground. Immediately, the Brazilian singer Anitta, who was also participating in the parade, approached and helped her up.
