“He put forward there, he put forward, he put forward, then he was stuck there, then after that was finished,” said a witness to the scene to TF1. The machine and the driver remained 18 hours stuck there, blocking the doors of the street homes. It was not until Monday, in the early morning, that a territorial agent of the town arrived to help the vehicle free from its narrow quagmire.
The problem of trucks in the village is not new. “Often the children watch the bus and lean to see if the bus arrives, and there I must say that I am very worried when I pass and that I see a truck coming,” annoys a resident interviewed by TF1.
