Stascheit GmbH was previously owner -managed. Her main business area includes recognizing, mounting and destruction of fighting materials and contaminated sites. In the medium term, Rheinmetall, according to its own statements, is aiming for an annual turnover of 80 million euros with the new subsidiary.

The company has already worked with Rheinmetall in the past – for example in the detection of fighting in the North Sea. It was about tracking down fighter in the North Sea and maintenance work on offshore wind farms. Before the laying of submarines in the Baltic Sea and Spain, ammunitional loads would have been destroyed together, it said.

Rheinmetall only announced the purchase of the supplier Hagedorn-NC last week. The company from Osnabrück produces so -called nitro cellulose, which is part of shooting powder.
