Participate in an orienteering race in the middle of the night in a forest infested with zombies. Fans of the series Walking Dead And the world of the living dead have appointed on May 24 for the third edition of the Zomb’in The Dark. Last year, 600 people had registered To this event which takes place in the Vioreau forest, north of Nantes.
The concept: alone or in a team, the survivors are responsible for exploring an obscure place, equipped with a lamp and a compass, to validate a maximum of tags in 1:30. Except that zombies prowl in search of fresh human flesh. Since the opening of the ticket office on April 4, a hundred people have already reserved their place on the surviving side (32 euros) or zombie (10 euros). But the number of places is limited.
This very popular zombie race was launched in 2014 by the event company Argemiain partnership with local orientation clubs. In total, more than 40,000 people have already participated in more than 60 dates in France and Switzerland.
After Vioreau, the zombies will invade the Lycée Giel Don Bosco, in Giel-Courteilles in the Orne on June 14.
