Within the framework of the Hannover Messe 2025 fair, Siemens and Accenture They have announced the creation of Accenture Siemens Business Group, a new business group designed to accelerate digital transformation into engineering and manufacturing. With an work force of 7,000 professionals specialized in manufacturing and technology at a global level, this alliance seeks to enhance automation, industrial artificial intelligence (AI) and software through the Siemens Xcelerator platform, complemented with the capabilities in data and accenture.
“By strengthening our collaboration, we combine the unique capabilities of two market leaders: technology, access to data and the deep knowledge of the software, the automation and industrial of Siemens with the Power of Accenture to apply data and the engineering and manufacturing,” says Roland Busch, president and CEO of Siemens. “With Accenture Siemens Business Group, we will empower customers in all industries to boost their entire value chain by integrating AI into the nucleus of their businesses.”
For his part, Julie Sweet, President and CEO of Accenture, emphasizes that “engineering and manufacturing are the next digital border.” According to Sweet, the new group will take advantage of “automation, data and AI to help customers reinvent their products and how they make them”, increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
Accenture Siemens Business Group
Both companies have worked together in various industries, helping companies to modernize and optimize their processes. An outstanding example is Kion, a leading company in solution chain, where both companies have implemented the Siemens Teamcenter platform to unify and improve engineering processes. The incorporation of simulations, generative AI and models -based systems engineering (MBSE) has allowed greater efficiency in its operations.
Another significant case is that of Navantia, the Spanish State Company of Naval Construction, where Siemens and Accenture have developed an advanced product design platform using Siemens Teamcenter and Capital Logic Designer. Thanks to this technology, the company has managed to reduce design and manufacturing costs by 20%, in addition to improving the quality of its digital models.
Accenture Siemens Businnes Group, expands the existing alliance between both companies and promotes the development of software products and scale factories throughout the industry
Scalable solutions for multiple sectors
Accenture Siemens Business Group will focus on the creation of digital solutions applied to sectors such as aerospace, automotive, consumer products, electronics, industrial machinery and transport. Among its main initiatives are:
- Reinvention of engineering and R&D models: The group will develop global centers of excellence in engineering, promoting the use of models -based systems engineering (MBSE) and the adoption of advanced solutions for software defined vehicles (SDV).
- Manufacturing transformation: The Alliance will facilitate the implementation of advanced manufacturing execution systems, allowing real -time monitoring of production plants and applying AI to optimize operational processes.
- Industrial Safety and Cyberotection: ACCENTURE Siemens Business Group will work on the protection of critical infrastructure, including operational technology (OT) and manufacturing systems, through security services managed as the Managed Extended Detection and Response (MXDR) platform for Accenture.
- Assets and maintenance management: Advanced solutions will be promoted for after -sales, maintenance, repair and review of industrial equipment, maximizing the useful life of customer assets.
Agentica: The future of industrial automation
One of the pillars of the new group will be the application of AI agentica, an advanced technology that allows developing artificial intelligence agents and models focused on simulation, robotics and process optimization. This innovation will automatically evaluate the impact of new engineering developments, validating its viability, cost and performance.
Thanks to agentica, Siemens and Accenture customers can optimize the management of the product life cycle (PLM), asset administration and industrial maintenance, as well as improve remote operations through advanced digitalization.
