More and more people are encouraged to live the experience of First Dates first-hand. The popular blind dating show, presented by Carlos Sobera, has managed to make a place for itself on the Spanish television schedule for its particular way of helping singles. Well, as they have been doing for eight years now, their participants must undergo a prior compatibility test where they have to present their tastes, hobbies, qualities and prototype of the perfect person. A series of requirements that will be used by the program team to be able to facilitate a date with another single person according to their tastes and preferences. A unique television adventure that pParticipants like Pepi did not want to get lost.
The woman from Malaga landed in the format accompanied by her son, Alejandro. «He told me that he was going to sign up for First Dates because I was very bored, and it is true that I go out less and less»he said in his presentation. The young man wanted his mother to find someone to go out with and enjoy life. But, no matter how much he accepted his son’s offer, Pepi was clear that at his age he did not want to live with a new boyfriend. «After so many years alone, I would not adapt to living together»he confessed. It was then that the program team introduced him to Manuel, a retired mechanic from Albacete.
The bachelor came to the program confessing that his great passion has always been women. “I like that they have a good chest, that they are friendly, open and fun”he pointed out. The first impression between the single couple was quite right, at least for Manuel. “She’s gorgeous”he said when he saw Pepi.
Carlos Sobera accompanied the diners to the restaurant table with the aim of getting them to know each other better. In this way, both participants began to talk about various topics to discover if they shared any common tastes or hobbies. But unfortunately, They couldn’t agree on anything.
“We agree on few things,” the single woman acknowledged. “It’s no longer worth it, either she falls in love with him somewhere else or nothing”commented his son Alejandro from the program’s booth. But, when everything seemed lost, the evening took a 180º turn after Manuel confessed that he loved the rural world. «I always love to get out of the routine, every weekend I like to go out»he counted.
“I like it too,” she replied. «We are both in the same situation, alone, we need good company and we like to go out»Manuel confessed. Later, and with the aim of making things clear from the beginning, Pepi told him that he did not plan to live with his next romantic partner.

Minutes later, the participant escaped to the booth to discuss the appointment with her son. “I gave it a chance, you’re looking for the same thing,” he commented.
