The death of Akira Toriyama in March 2024 turned the anime and manga world upside down. The legendary Mangaka has with Dr. Slump and Dragon Ball celebrated great success worldwide, without which many other well -known series might not exist!
The break from the Dragon Ball Super-Manga took a special taking fans, after all, it was the last big manga project by Akira Toriyama and the continuation of Dragon Ball Z. It is all the more touching that the dragon-in-average man of the Super-Mangas published a new drawing in the 24th volume of Dragon Ball Super: “Forever Toriyama’s World!”.
Toyotaro’s drawing In honor of Akira Toriyama, not only Dragon Ball and Dr. Slump
Toyotaro came up with something special for the release of the upcoming 24th manga band by Dragon Ball Super. In order to honor his late mentor and his masterpieces, the current Dragon Ball Super artist immortalized many fans loved characters in one picture.
Dragon Ball-Fan and X-USER @DBShype has published the drawing of Toyotaro in a post that you can see here:

Toyotaro, who has been the main drawer from the Dragon Ball Super-Manga for some time, while Toriyama has turned to writing, but not only expresses his appreciation to Toriyama’s Dragon Ball.
In the picture you not only see Goku and other Dragon Ball characters, but also all kinds of figures from Akira Toriyama’s other manga and anime works, including:
- Aral from Dr. Slump
- Beelzebub from sandland
- Jiora from Chokin Senshi Cashman
- Toki from Kintoki
As well as many other figures that come from Akira Toriyama.
The inscription “Forever Toriyama’s world!” So round off the drawing perfectly.

Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot gets new Daima DLC and the release period is already
Toyotaro is Toriyama’s biggest fan and official dragon ball is great
It can be clearly seen that Toyotaro is or was a big fan of Akira Toriyama. His passion even extended so far that he made it super on the side of the legendary Mangakas to the Dragon Ball dragon.
If the manga ever returns from the break and further tell the story of Goku and Co., he therefore bears great responsibility as the now official sole draftsman and script clipper of Super. The future of the Dragon Ball manga is primarily in his hands.
Dragon Ball Super currently includes 104 chapters, although the 104th chapter was only published in February. In the coming 24th Dragon Ball Super-Band, the latest chapter will contain the drawing in honor of Akira Toriyamas.
Here you can read Dragon Ball Super until the current chapter
You can find the manga for Dragon Ball Super in English in Mangaplus. At the moment, the manga is still in the break and the last chapter in February only served as a single story about Trunks and Goths, which has little to do with the main story of Dragon Ball. So we have to be patient until the actual act in the manga is further retired.
Do you recognize the figures in Toyotaro’s drawing and how do you stand for the existing break of Dragon Ball Super?
