The government hopes to introduce the innovation as early as the 2025-2026 academic year, but it depends on parliamentary times. The places will reach 25 thousand, today there are around 20 thousand.
For students who do not pass the selection for the second semester, it will be possible to use the training credits acquired in the first six months to enroll in other degree courses, thus offering a second chance without losing the academic year.
There news also concerns the degree courses in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics and in Veterinary Medicine. The text was approved by the Senate Education Committee. Now it must pass to the Chamber and then to the Chamber. “The test with schizophrenic questions is abolished, with an extemporaneous evaluation of cross tests. This is an enabling law, the details will be specified in the delegation”, clarified the president of the Senate Health Commission.
