PLD dishonorably expels Carlos Amarante Baret for life

He Court National of Discipline and Ethics of the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) expelled for life and in a dishonorable manner Carlos Amarante Baretmember of the Central Committee and the Political Committee of the party, for “attack against the unit“of the organization.

According to the document issued, Amarante Baret was urging other members of the PLD to resign and join him in creating a new organization policy. This behavior was considered “serious and very serious offenses.”

The decision was announced within the framework of the Plenary General Approval of X Congress Ordinary Reinaldo Pared Pérez, which takes place this weekend.
